in the Service will be corrected.

Custom Flower Preservation

I understand that ‘The Flower Bandits’ cannot be held responsible for damaged/undesirable outcomes during the drying process as a result of the flowers being in poor condition.
I understand that ‘The Flower Bandits’ will use their best judgement as to what flowers are suitable for pressing/drying in the event that they arrive in suboptimal condition.
I understand that when pressing or drying flowers, the colours may be altered due to the natural drying prn darken to an almost black colour. Light pinks roses may lose their colour and dry similarly to a white rose. Other factors can affect this, such as the condition of the flower prior to pressing. Subtle colour enhancement is included in all packages and will be discussed once flowers are being reconstructed.
I understand that fading of the colours of my pressed bouquet can be expected over time.
Pink coloured flowers, especially, tend to fade most obviously. However, by following the after-care instructions (these will be sent to you along with your finished frame) the fading process can be minimised.
I understand that some debris/pollen can appear in my frame after it has been completed.
Although we try our best to avoid this (by meticulously cleaning all frames and brushing flowers with a fine, soft brush), it is sometimes unavoidable due to their organic nature.
I understand that although every effort is made to remove any excess or visible glue from the glass, some traces of glue may still be seen as this is what holds the flowers in place.
I understand that it may not be possible to use all parts of my bouquet in my frame due to thickness of some flowers, the condition on arrival to us, and spatial limitations of the frame.
I understand that all written details added to my frame must be confirmed prior to sealing the frame and cannot be changed after this.
I understand that the shipping of my bouquet and finished preservation is my financial responsibility and not covered within the price of my package.
I understand that if my preservation is being posted outside of Ireland any customs charges that are applicable are my responsibility as the client to pay.
I understand that if my flowers arrive in poor condition and cannot be preserved that the booking fee remains non-refundable (There will be the option to send replacement flowers if desired, or alternatively we can source replacement flowers from a local florist at an additional cost).
I understand that if posting my bouquet, I should send it via Registered Post to ensure it is traceable and for proof of postage. In the event that flowers are lost in transit, a tracking number will be required for a refund of the booking fee to be considered.
I understand that ‘The Flower Bandits’ cannot be held responsible for any loss or damages during shipping. All preservations are sent via registered post and will be trackable. In the rare event that your preservation arrives and is damaged you must inform us within 48 hours of receipt along with photographic evidence so we can organise a courier to collect it, and return to us for repair.
I understand that availability for my preservation must be checked prior to booking in. If this is not done, I will be liable to pay an additional 100 euro fee which will cover payment for additional staff needed to press my flowers. In the event that I have booked in without checking availability and ‘The Flower Bandits’ are unable to facilitate my booking, any payment made will not be refunded. Instead a gift voucher for the amount paid will be sent to me.
I understand that the 100/50 euro booking fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation unless there are exceptional circumstances. Refunds will be made at our discretion.
I understand that the remaining balance for the preservation will be due once my flowers are fully dried and removed from the press (approx. 4-8 weeks after receipt of the bouquet).
If this payment is not made within a reasonable time, or there is no communication from the client, ‘The Flower Bandits’ reserve the right to cancel the order and the pressed flowers will remain our property until full payment is received.
I understand that there will be an additional cost associated for the pressing and preservation of any extra flowers/boutonnieres that are sent along with my bouquet (wedding preservation clients only). If larger preservation packages are being chosen, you will be given instructions to send additional flowers if possible, with no additional cost associated.
I understand that flowers received by ‘The Flower Bandits’ for preservation will remain their property until all due payments are made.
I understand that if no communication to ‘The Flower Bandits’ for a period of 6 months or greater, my order will be cancelled and flowers will be disposed of.
I understand that, given the personalised nature of a preserved bouquet or floral frame, no refunds can be issued as it cannot be resold.
I understand that ‘The Flower Bandits’ will not copy any design from another artist and will design my frame using their own unique style. Please ensure prior to booking in that you have taken the time to look at examples of our previous work which can be found on our website www.theflowerbandits.ie or on our Instagram account @theflowerbandits.ie.
I understand that in the event ‘The Flower Bandits’ is required to register for VAT, this cost will be applied to my order. This is a government fee and is outside of the control of the business.
I understand that the approximate turnaround time of 6~9 months can be longer at timesdue to numerous factors. This is a slow art form which cannot be rushed and we appreciate your patience.
I understand that ‘The Flower Bandits’ will not be held responsible for any damages to my pressed flower piece due to improper care or display. I will be provided with care instructions on receipt of my finished piece and accept responsibility to follow these instructions.
